The San Francisco 49ers met with Georgia wide receiver Riley Ridley during the first night of the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, according to Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee.

Ridley was the Bulldogs' top receiver in 2018. He had 43 catches for 559 yards with nine touchdowns last season, according to Sports Reference.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-1 and 199-pound Ridley had 13 reps in the bench press. Other measurables for Ridley include an arm length of 32 5/8 inches and hands that measure 10 1/4 inches.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Ridley to James Jones, wrote the following about Ridley within his scouting report:

"Physical possession receiver who wins with attention to detail in his routes, plus body control and sure hands. Ridley isn't the fastest receiver on the block, but there is enough under the engine to race cornerbacks down the field if he's challenged on an island. His separation windows may always be a little tighter, but his timing and ability to turn contested catches in his favor should make him a better pro than college player with an upside of WR2."
