The San Francisco 49ers are expressing some interest in New York Jets wide receiver Jermaine Kearse, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Although, Barrows does admit that he doesn't know how serious the 49ers' interest in the 29-year-old receiver might be.

The Seattle Seahawks signed Kearse as an undrafted free agent out of Washington in 2012. He registered 37 receptions for 371 yards with a touchdown through 14 games and nine starts with the Jets in 2018.

Kearse's best season came in 2017 — his first year with the Jets — when he recorded 65 receptions for 810 yards with five touchdowns. He has caught 255 passes for 3,290 yards with 17 touchdowns through his seven NFL seasons.

Kearse was part of the Seahawks when the organization won Super Bowl XLVIII.
