Linebacker David Mayo will wear No. 59, wide receiver Jordan Matthews will wear No. 81, and running back Tevin Coleman will wear No. 26.
Wide receiver Trent Taylor announced last month that he will switch to No. 15, allowing Matthews to snag the number of his choice.
What is surprising is that second-year linebacker Fred Warner is switching to No. 54 from the No. 48 jersey he wore during his rookie campaign.
New 49ers cornerback Jason Verrett and pass rusher Dee Ford have not yet decided on their numbers. Neither of their numbers with their former teams is currently available. Verrett's old number, 22, is worn by running back Matt Breida. Ford's old number, 55, is worn by linebacker Pita Taumoepenu.
