The San Francisco 49ers were expected to select a wide receiver during Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft. Instead, they selected two. Jalen Hurd of Baylor became the team's second wideout drafted after the team selected Deebo Samuel in the second round.

Hurd will join Marquise Goodwin, Jordan Matthews, last year's second-round pick, Dante Pettis, fellow rookie Samuel, and others in the 49ers' receivers room. San Francisco has selected at least one wide receiver during each of the past 17 drafts.

Below are some of the reactions from Hurd's new NFL teammates after the selection was announced.
