Any draft class which contains a pass rusher and foundational defensive piece like defensive end Nick Bosa is likely to rank high among experts. But Bosa's presence isn't where the impact of the San Francisco 49ers' 2019 draft class ends, according to Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks.

The NFL Network and NFL.com analysts ranked San Francisco's recent crop of draft picks among the top 5 in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, New York Giants, and Carolina Panthers are the other teams that impressed the duo.

Brooks notes that the value in the 49ers' latest draft class comes with the picks after Bosa — wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd. Samuel was selected in the second round while Hurd was the team's third-round pick.

"Versatile playmakers," Brooks said as he described the receivers. "Guys that, offensively, add some explosiveness to what Kyle Shanahan wants to do on offense. You get Jimmy Garoppolo back; you surround him with playmakers, this offense should be able to take a big jump and make them a viable contender in the NFC West."

Jeremiah also likes the additions of Samuel and Hurd, who he notes join last year's second-round selection, Dante Pettis, and veteran Marquise Goodwin in the wide receivers room.

Jeremiah gave the 49ers a draft grade of "A" earlier this month, noting that the team didn't end up with the No. 1 overall pick but still landed the best player in the draft in Bosa.

"And Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd, two very versatile, athletic playmakers, I think that Kyle Shanahan is going to have a lot of fun with," Jeremiah added.
