Transitioning from the voice of the Oakland Raiders to the play-by-play duties for the San Francisco 49ers isn't the only move Greg Papa is making. Effective immediate, he is no longer with 95.7 The Game and will reportedly be joining KNBR, according to Steve Berman of The Athletic.

KNBR is the flagship station of the 49ers.

It would appear the move was news to his 95.7 The Game co-host, Bonta Hill, who tweeted the following on Friday.

Papa was named the new 49ers play-by-play announcer in January, replacing Ted Robinson who held the job for the past 10 seasons. Papa spent 21 years as the voice of the Raiders before being fired in July of last year.
