I have 42 players as being locked in, now some could debate these, but for me, these guys seem like locks right now. For those 42, which I will list below, they make up $113,155,320 in salary cap room.

38 | Lattimore, Marcus | RB | 2016 | $495,146 |
63 | Jerod-Eddie, Tony | DE | 2014 | $495,000 |
Now the 49ers will have an additional $3,429,220 in dead money for the 2014 season, once June 1st hits, and Carlos Rogers' salary is off the books.
If we take the previous amounts, the 49ers have committed $116,584,540 for 42 players and dead money. Now the 49ers did get a 3rd-round compensatory pick for losing Dashon Goldson last offseason. I don't know the exact amount that the comp pick will count, but taking into considerations that the 49ers have a projected rookie pool, according to OverTheCap.com, of $6,009,358, the 49ers would then have committed salaries for 2014 up to $122,593,898.
Now the 49ers adjusted salary cap is $135,483,783, which includes the $133 million cap limit, plus carryover, and credits. If the 49ers were to stand put, and not extend anyone else, the 49ers could be looking at as much as $12,889,885 in cap room. But it's more likely that they do extend the contract of at least QB Colin Kaepernick. I don't want to go into details, but I believe the team will give him a signing bonus, which would cost about $5 million in 2014 cap space, from a signing bonus proration.
Now I have 42 players making the team, plus I imagine the top 6 picks would make the team, which would bring the total to 48 players locked in. Which would then leave only 5 spots open on the roster.
Some guys I feel who are in the running include, TEs Derek Carrier($495,000), & Garrett Celek($572,000), OTs Adam Snyder ($1.3 milliion), & Luke Marquardt($421,666), NT Quinton Dial($540,413), CBs Chris Cook($570,000), Perrish Cox($645,000), & Darryl Morris($495,000), and Safety Craig Dahl($1,283,333).
I expect the final spots to be mostly made up of rookie minimum, or league minimum players, no more than $570,000. So if we have 5 players making no more than $570,000, that adds up to $2.85 million. I'm not saying it will be that way, but it's a good number to have.
Now the Practice Squad members, if kept at 8, would be around $102,000 each, or $816,000 total.
After all is said and done, we would have around $131,259,989 in committed salaries, with about $4,223,885 in cap room to begin 2014.
Now that can change with some easy restructures. We could lower some guys base salaries down, maybe Ahmad Brooks, who has been rumored to have already lowered his base salary down. Or Vernon Davis, Ray McDonald, and Patrick Willis.
We could also see some guys get extensions, and lower their overall salaries, namely Davis, Willis, and Chris Culliver. So it wouldn't surprise me if the 49ers start 2014 with around $10 million in salary cap room. And if they do indeed have that much, or near it, the 49ers could be looking at around $40 million in salary cap room for the beginning of 2015.
Note: I mistakenly left out WR Quinton Patton, and OLB Corey Lemonier, both are locks, I apologize for that. The cap room should still be the same.
