The two teams will face each other in an exhibition game scheduled for Monday night at Mile High Stadium.
Quick Notes
T Joe Staley took part in practice after being limited on Wednesday due to some pectoral soreness.
QB Jimmy Garoppolo bounced back from his five-interception practice on Wednesday by completing eight-straight passes against the Broncos defense to start team drills. Broncos S Justin Simmons later came away with a Garoppolo-thrown interception, his only of the day.
"I just left it a little short, didn't get enough air on it," Garoppolo said. "[Simmons] made a nice play on it."
The 49ers signed CB Quinten Rollins to replace injured CB Greg Mabin (calf), whom the team waived on Friday. Rollins took part in Friday's practice.
Injuries
G Mike Person was seen after practice on crutches and with his left foot in an orthopedic boot, according to multiple reports. A cart later drove him away. Person participated in practice, however, and no one noticed how the injury occurred.
Matt Barrows of The Athletic later reported that Person's injury does not appear to be serious, and the guard may have had his foot wrapped too tightly during practice. There has been no update yet from the 49ers.
