The San Francisco 49ers have announced the re-signing of running back Brandon Wilds. The team waived offensive lineman Willie Beavers in a corresponding move.

The 49ers initially signed Wilds on August 10. He has appeared in two preseason games with the 49ers and recorded eight carries for 32 combined yards against the Dallas Cowboys on August 10 and Denver Broncos on August 19. San Francisco waived Wilds on August 21.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Wilds as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina on May 6, 2016. He has appeared in games with the New York Jets (2016) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2018) while registering 42 rushing yards on 16 carries and adding two receptions for 20 yards during those two NFL seasons.

The 49ers claimed Beavers off waivers from the Chicago Bears on May 6, 2019.

San Francisco announced another set of roster moves about 30 minutes before this one. The team signed cornerback Chris Campbell to a one-year deal and waived offensive lineman Dillon Day.
