The San Francisco 49ers have signed offensive lineman Jaryd Jones-Smith to the practice squad. To make room on the practice squad, the team has released offensive lineman Will Holden.

The moves come after Monday's report that the 49ers signed cornerback Teez Tabor to the practice squad and released offensive lineman Ryan Pope.

The 49ers Communications department provided the following rundown of the newest practice squad member.

Jones-Smith (6-7, 345) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018. He was waived by the Texans on September 1, 2018. On April 9, 2019, he signed with the Miami Dolphins and was later waived by the team on August 31.

A 24-year-old native of Philadelphia, PA, Jones-Smith attended the University of Pittsburgh (2013-17) where he appeared in 33 games (13 starts).

Holden (6-7, 312) originally signed to the team's practice squad on September 17.
