Defensive end Dee Ford continues to miss practice with knee and quadricep issues. Although, head coach Kyle Shanahan said this week that the 49ers' new pass rusher was unlikely to practice until Saturday, so his absence isn't surprising.
Running back Tevin Coleman practiced for the second straight day. He was limited on Thursday, and again on Friday.
"He's not a lock to play (against the Browns)," Shanahan said of Coleman on Friday morning. "I think I'll have a much better decision on that today. We went into this week knowing he's not a lock to play, especially coming back on a short week where the Rams having 10 days of rest, and us going to be coming off a Monday night game with six days. That can be real tough on running backs."
For the Browns, wide receiver Jarvis Landry was cleared from the concussion protocol, practiced on Friday, and is expected to play on Monday night.
Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Browns, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
