Kyle Shanahan later confirmed Juszczyk suffered a knee sprain and would be evaluated on Tuesday.
Although the head coach did point out Juszczyk could have returned to action, had the game been closer in the waning minutes.
Juszczyk later told reporters he didn't think the injury was serious and felt it surely wasn't an ACL tear. After going down on the field, Juszczyk was able to get up and walk off under his own power in relatively short order.
While Juszczyk managed two catches for 20 yards in the game, the 49ers rushing attack flourished with the fullback's lead-blocking efforts. In total, San Francisco's running backs amassed 275 yards on the ground -- a prime reason why the Niners are now 4-0.
With the 49ers having a short week before their Week 6 road game against the Los Angeles Rams, one would expect Shanahan to bring Juszczyk along slowly between now and Sunday.
