The San Francisco 49ers all-white throwback uniforms, which are based on those worn by the 1994 championship team, are something very special in the hearts of the Niner Faithful. They are a thing of beauty.

New 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders feels that way about the jerseys too.

In his first game with his new team, Sanders got to wear that historic uniform, and for him, it meant a lot to do so. He explained why on Tuesday morning during a KNBR interview.

"I love the all-white," Sanders said on the "Murph and Mac" show. "Growing up, I was a big Deion Sanders fan. I did a project with Deion Sanders. It was like a museum at my school where you stand, and you say, 'I'm Deion Sanders, an all-world athlete.'

"In the photo, I remember I had a picture of Deion Sanders in a 49ers uniform. It was all-white. Just having the all-white jersey with the 'Sanders' on the back, I was like, 'Man, God is amazing.'"
