Raheem Mostert had a career game this past weekend against the Baltimore Ravens. The team lost the road matchup at M&T Bank Stadium, but the San Francisco 49ers running back had career highs in carries (19) and rushing yards (146) while finding his way into the end zone once.

Mostert's 146 rushing yards are the most by a 49ers player since Carlos Hyde had 193 against the New York Jets on December 11, 2016. Still, it wasn't quite enough to satisfy a competitor like Mostert, who joined KNBR on Wednesday morning, because it didn't result in a victory.

"I actually asked myself this question," Mostert said on the "Murph and Mac" show. "Was it good enough to help the team? There was a couple of things that I could have done a little bit better, put the team in a better position to even kick a field goal.

"I had a 3rd-and-4, and I ran an outside zone to the right, and I only got three yards out of it. That's what ultimately made it a 4th-and-1. If I would have just got upfield and read the defense a little bit better, then I probably would have got that first down, and we would have been in a better position.

"I try to critique myself, and play my game, and see how I can help the team ultimately try to win."

Mostert went on to give a lot of credit to his offensive line, the tight ends, and the receivers for helping in the blocking and allowing him to achieve career numbers. The performance earned Mostert a FedEx Ground Player of the Week nomination.
