Cornerback Richard Sherman is the latest player to be mic'd up during a San Francisco 49ers game. The team's in-house production group, 49ers Studios, released the following video of the 31-year-old defender from Sunday night's regular-season finale and 26-21 victory over his former team, the Seattle Seahawks.

The game was a rematch of a Week 10 loss at Levi's Stadium when San Francisco took an early lead but ultimately lost on a game-winning field goal in overtime.

"Don't take the foot off the gas," Sherman can be heard telling his teammates on the sideline after the 49ers, once again, took an early lead on Sunday. "We've been here before. Don't take the foot off the gas."

You can also see and hear Sherman encouraging teammates throughout the game, discussing strategy with players and coaches, and making plays on the field.

Sherman recorded four tackles against the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field, and the 49ers win made the Bay Area squad the NFC West champions and earned the team home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Sherman is in his second season with the 49ers. San Francisco signed the veteran cornerback on March 10, 2018, after he spent his first seven NFL seasons with Seattle.

Last month, Sherman was named to his fifth career Pro Bowl and first as a member of the 49ers.
