The 49ers look on track to get linebacker Kwon Alexander (pectoral), defensive end Dee Ford (hamstring), and safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) back to help the defense on Saturday. All three participated in the team's three practices this week.
Ford and defensive lineman Kentavius Street (knee) are listed as "questionable," and that's it for the 49ers' side of the injury report. The team appears to be relatively healthy heading into the playoff matchup.
Alexander does not appear on the practice report because he remains on injured reserve. However, the 49ers are expected to activate the linebacker before Saturday's game. He practiced in a blue no-contact jersey on Thursday, as he has done since San Francisco opened his practice window last week.
There has been a lot of attention on the statuses of Vikings wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.
Diggs missed Tuesday's and Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but returned to the practice field on Thursday. He did not appear on the team's final injury report. Thielen, however, suffered a cut on his ankle during Wednesday's practice, received stitches to close the wound, and did not practice on Thursday. He was listed as "questionable" for Saturday.
The only Vikings player ruled out for this weekend's game is cornerback Mackensie Alexander, who underwent arthroscopic surgery this week for the small tear in his lateral meniscus.
Another Vikings defensive back to keep an eye on is safety Jayron Kearse, who is listed as "doubtful" due to a toe injury he's been nursing since Week 15. He has, however, played through the injury the past three weeks.
Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Vikings, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
