Sunday's attendance added up to 72,211 excited fans who filled Levi's Stadium to watch the 49ers knock off the Packers 37-20 and advance to Super Bowl LIV. The attendance total broke a record that stood for eight ... days. Yes, it broke a record set the previous weekend when the 49ers hosted the Minnesota Vikings in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
"I've played the Packers a number of times," head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game, "and I don't care where you play the Packers, there's always a ton of Green Bay fans in the stadium. And out of all the times I've ever played the Packers in any stadium in my life, I did not see green out there, and that's pretty hard to do.
"So, I love it here. I love Levi's and hoping our fans follow us to Miami."
While the 72,211 fans in attendance set a record for the largest crowd to watch a 49ers game, it ranks fifth all-time in Levi's Stadium history.
