There are a lot of eyes on running back Tevin Coleman, who suffered a dislocated shoulder during Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers. He was on the practice field on Thursday as players stretched but then moved to a side field once drills started.
The good news is that Coleman was suited up, which is encouraging with the Super Bowl just nine days way. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Friday that Coleman's MRI earlier in the week had positive results.
If the 49ers played a game on Sunday, Coleman would be "questionable."
Wide receiver Dante Pettis was absent during Thursday's practice due to an illness but rejoined his teammates on Friday. He was a full practice participant.
Linebacker Kwon Alexander and safety Jaquiski Tartt continue to practice in blue no-contact jerseys. Both, along with defensive end Dee Ford, were limited.
Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Chiefs, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
