The San Francisco 49ers suffered their most disappointing loss of the season, and probably their most disappointing since 2013 — the last time the team lost a Super Bowl. It looked like the 49ers might take home their sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy when they led 20-10 late in the game. Then a fourth-quarter collapse or a ferocious Chiefs comeback, whichever you prefer to call it, occurred.
The 49ers Communications staff provided some key 49ers-centric statistics from the game. They are below.
Team Stats
- The 49ers defense registered two interceptions on the night, with LB Fred Warner and DB Tarvarius Moore each intercepting Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes for their first postseason interceptions of their careers.
