The San Francisco 49ers agreed to terms on a one-year contract with linebacker Joe Walker on Monday. The team made it official by announcing the move on Tuesday.

Walker is best known as a special teams contributor but did start the final 10 games of this past season for the Cardinals. He recorded a career-high 65 tackles through 16 games and 11 starts in 2019.

It turns out, the 49ers didn't have to pay much to pry the linebacker away from the Arizona Cardinals. Below is the contract breakdown of Walker's deal, courtesy of OverTheCap.com.

2020:
$825,000 base salary
$75,000 roster bonus ($4,687.50 per game)
$900,000 salary-cap hit
