He is probably one of the draft prospects many San Francisco 49ers fans have been waiting to hear about. Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has confirmed via Instagram that he had a virtual interview with San Francisco. He is expected to be among the top receivers drafted in the first round. The 49ers own the No. 13 overall selection.

Lamb racked up 62 catches for 1,327 yards with 14 touchdowns in 2019 — his junior year with Sooners. It was his second consecutive 1,000-plus-yard season.

"The Niners, I've talked to them," Lamb said. "The Raiders, I've talked to them. The Jets, I've talked to them. I talked to the Raiders and the Jets, actually, this past week."

Pre-draft interviews are being held virtually over video chat software as the NFL continues to observe social distancing. Members of the team staff are conducting these interviews, along with other draft preparations, remotely from their homes. Conversations with draft prospects can't last more than an hour, with no more than three with a single player per week.

The 2020 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 23-25.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-2 and 198-pound Lamb had a 40-time of 4.5 seconds, a vertical jump of 34.5 inches, a broad jump of 124 inches, and 11 reps in the bench press. Other measurables for Lamb include an arm length of 32 1/4 inches and hands that measure 9 1/4 inches.

Below is the NFL.com draft profile bio on Lamb:

Lamb was the Houston Touchdown Club's Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 after he recorded 2,032 receiving yards and 33 touchdowns on 98 receptions (he also returned three punts for touchdowns). The four-star recruit became a Freshman All-American his first year with the Sooners, starting 13 of 14 games played and slaughtering the school record for freshman with 807 receiving yards (46 receptions, 17.5 per, seven TD). Lamb earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors from the league's coaches as a sophomore, leading OU with 11 receiving touchdowns and covering 1,158 yards on his 65 catches (17.8 per). He took over punt return duties in 2018, as well (17-218-12.8). Lamb cemented his status as one of the top receivers in the country in 2019, garnering first-team Associated Press All-American, Biletnikoff Award finalist, and first-team All-Big 12 honors. He led the Sooners with 62 receptions for 1,327 yards (21.4 per, tops in the FBS among those with 40+ receptions) and 14 touchdowns in 13 starts.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Lamb to Chad Johnson, wrote the following about Lamb within his scouting report:

Explosive, three-level playmaker and vital cog in one of the most potent offensive machines in college football over the last three seasons. Lamb uses speed and separation quickness to dominate competition in a scheme that frequently created open throws in space. His routes will need to become more efficient and crisp to beat man-to-man coverage against NFL size and speed, but his ball skills and explosiveness with the ball in his hand should allow teams to scheme him into explosive opportunities right away. Lamb has the potential to play any of the three receiver positions as a pro and should benefit greatly from the NFL's continued movement toward college-style passing attacks.
