NFL executives and coaches are putting together in-home draft war rooms, and San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch just shared a photo of his setup. Sorry, there are no hints of what the team intends to do with either of its first-round selections in there.

Lynch's custom setup includes at least seven screens (you can see part of one more with some desktop icons off to the right, and that may be another laptop to the left, possibly giving him another). There are also three phones, which he will likely use to call commissioner Roger Goodell to make any picks, or head coach Kyle Shanahan, CEO Jed York, EVP of football operations Paraag Marathe, and others.


Off in the distance is some inspiration — a painting of "The Catch," the iconic play that launched the 49ers dynasty of the 80s.

And here I thought my three-screen setup with a view of my neighbor's house was nice.

"My at-home war room is almost like I'm at the @SAPSports Performance Facility," writes Lynch.


Lynch's and Shanahan's homes have been completely hardwired, team president Al Guido recently revealed. That will prevent any unexpected Wi-Fi glitches headed into or during the draft.
