Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow could find himself landing with the Cincinnati Bengals as the No. 1 overall pick on Thursday. The San Francisco 49ers won't face the Bengals this season. It's too bad because Burrow would love to do a little trash-talking against his former teammate and the reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Nick Bosa.

Burrow led the Tigers to a National Championship in his second season at LSU. Before that, he was at Ohio State with Bosa.

Why is Burrow so eager to trash talk against his former teammate? He explained during an interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report.

"Well, hopefully, I'm playing well enough that I'm allowed to talk trash," Burrow said. "It would have to be one of my friends, so I don't cause a little stir. Nick Bosa. I'll talk some trash to Nick because his trash talk is super weird. Like he'll say something like, 'Oh, you gotta throw the ball away on that one buddy,' or something like that when he sacks you. It's super weird."

Burrow isn't necessarily wrong about his friend. Bosa trolled quarterback Baker Mayfield during the 49ers' regular-season win against the Cleveland Browns last year by mimicking Mayfield's Sooners flag plant on Ohio State's home turf in college. It was pretty good, and one of Bosa's more memorable celebrations. Although, sliding across the rain-soaked field at FedExField is up there, too.

No one is knocking the celebration against the Browns. However, Bosa said after the game that he was engaged in a little trash talk with Mayfield during the matchup. What did he say?

That may be an example of why Burrow feels Bosa heeds to up his trash-talk game.

H/t to 49ers fan Justin Heitman for the find.
