The 49ers' fourth-year receiver would like to add some competition to his position room this offseason. Bourne thinks that Lynch and Shanahan might make Henry Ruggs III of Alabama his newest teammate. He shared his view while responding to Shanahan's tweet from last night, which provided fans with a tour of his home office setup for the draft.
The vast majority of mock drafts predict that San Francisco will select a receiver with the No. 13 overall pick, with Ruggs as the leading candidate within those mocks. If the team doesn't pick a receiver there, it may do so with its second first-round pick at No. 31. The 49ers could also trade down from either (or both) first-round spots to acquire more draft equity. San Francisco lacks a selection between rounds one and five, which would make for a rather dull day two of the draft for fans.
The 2020 NFL Draft starts tonight at 5:00 p.m. PT.
