Several San Francisco 49ers players are in Tennessee this week for player-organized workouts. No team-organized workouts are allowed yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and players aren't even allowed in team facilities or to meet face-to-face with coaches.

As a result, players are taking what they are learning from Zoom video conferences with coaches and organizing workout sessions themselves. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been organizing those for the 49ers.

The Tennessee football team's official Twitter account posted the following photo of former Vols wide receiver and 49ers seventh-round pick Jauan Jennings with Garoppolo and fullback Kyle Juszczyk in the background (h/t to Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group for the find).

Update: The 49ers are practicing at the Brentwood Academy, which is just outside Nashville.

The 49ers had been working out at San Jose State in California but shifted locations to involve more players. Tight end George Kittle, wide receiver Trent Taylor, and quarterback C.J. Beathard spend their offseasons in the Nashville area. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel joined them from Houston, Texas, where he had been training.
