Whoever is running the 49ers' social media account might want to ignite something, judging by an impressively clever tweet on Thursday. The post was meant to remind fans to wear masks during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which threatens the 2020 NFL season and sports in general.
And that individual did so while taking a shot at the Saints.
The 49ers last month trolled their division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, with a reply to this tweet.
One of the best responses came from the 49ers' official Twitter account via a short clip from the two teams' Week 17 matchup at CenturyLink Field this past season. The referenced play resulted in a Niners win and the division crown.
