Second-year wideout Deebo Samuel endorsed the 49ers going after Adams, as shown below by @OurSf49ers. He wrote "come on [the] gang," referring to the "Niner Gang," a popular alternative name for the 49ers fan base. Samuel's words were directed at Adams.
Samuel isn't the first 49ers player to show support for an Adams-to-49ers trade. Newly acquired offensive tackle Trent Williams, coming from Washington, seemed to campaign for Adams to join his new team by tagging the Jets safety in an Instagram post that showed Williams signing his restructured deal with San Francisco.

The 49ers were among several teams that Adams mentioned as luring destinations. It is worth noting that all of the teams are expected to have good seasons in 2020. While Adams has no desire to remain in New York, the Jets haven't hinted at a willingness to part with the safety.
There was an unverified rumor this past week that two NFC West squads, the 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, had reached out to the Jets and "had preliminary discussions" about the disgruntled defender. Of course, that isn't uncommon when there is a hint that a player might be available and doesn't necessarily indicate a move is imminent.
The 24-year-old Adams, a two-time Pro Bowler and recent first-team All-Pro, seeks to become the highest-paid safety in football. It might be challenging to imagine San Francisco as being able to pull that off with long-term contracts for others, like tight end George Kittle and the aforementioned Williams, in the pipeline. Although, Black goes into that in more detail within his feature.
The Jets drafted Adams out of LSU with the No. 6 overall pick in 2017. He registered 75 tackles, 6.5 sacks, seven passes defensed, an interception, a touchdown, and two forced fumbles through 14 games with the Jets in 2019, per Pro Football Reference.
