The San Francisco 49ers announced on Tuesday that the team has signed cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, an exclusive-rights free agent, to his one-year tender. San Francisco tendered the contract on March 5.

Moseley, 24, started nine regular-season games in 2019 after replacing an injured Ahkello Witherspoon. He started the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers and Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs. Moseley recorded an interception against Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in that playoff game.

The 49ers signed Moseley as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee in 2018. He registered 50 combined tackles, eight passes defensed, and an interception through 16 games in 2019.
