Bosa is the highest-ranked defender following his rookie season in the history of the NFL Top 100 Players.
The 49ers drafted Bosa out of Ohio State with the No. 2 overall pick in 2019. He registered 47 tackles, nine sacks, two passes defensed, an interception, and a forced fumble through 16 games in 2019 on his way to earning a Pro Bowl selection and being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He added four more sacks during postseason play, including one against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.
Tight end George Kittle is likely the final 49ers player on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020. We just don't yet know where he will rank. We do know Kittle will probably be the highest-ranked tight end on the list as Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs came in at No. 18.
The NFL Top 100 Players list is voted on by players and is based on performance during the previous year and predicted performance during the upcoming season. The list is in its 10th season on NFL Network.
Two players — Kittle and pass rusher Dee Ford — represented the 49ers on last year's NFL Top 100 Players list.
Next: No. 28 - Cornerback Richard Sherman
