The San Francisco 49ers have signed safety Johnathan Cyprien to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The defender was among several players to work out for the team on Tuesday.

San Francisco has made several roster moves today. The team is reportedly signing wide receiver Jaron Brown, former Syracuse defender Evan Foster, and offensive lineman Hroniss Grasu.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made Cyprien a second-round draft pick out of FIU in 2013. He has also played for the Tennessee Titans and spent last season between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

Cyprien has racked up 513 tackles, 12 for a loss, three sacks, five quarterback hits, two interceptions, and 16 passes defensed in six NFL seasons. A torn ACL cost him the entire 2018 season.
