The San Francisco 49ers waived offensive lineman Ross Reynolds with an injury settlement, according to NBC Sports Bay Area. He was part of the 49ers' roster cut-down before the season, but because he was injured, the offensive lineman reverted back to injured reserve after going unclaimed.

Reynolds was carted off the practice field on August 23 after going down with a leg injury during 11-on-11 drills. San Francisco signed the offensive lineman as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa last year, and he spent his rookie season on the practice squad.

Center Hroniss Grasu and cornerback Dontae Johnson, who were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, have reverted back to the practice squad.
