On a scale of 1 to 10, how is Kittle feeling right now?
"Twenty," Kittle told Jac Collinsworth of NBC Sports. "I get to play football again. I feel great. I feel healthy. I'm not worried about anything, and I get to go play football.
"Sunday night football is my favorite night. There's nothing better than Sunday night football. It's the best.
"I get to play it at home. I'm really looking forward to it. It's two good teams. I get to see my boy, Zach Ertz. It's just going to be a lot of great football out there, and I just can't wait."
Kittle has been a full participant all week during practices. Another player who will be making his return is wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who suffered a Jones fracture in June.
Quarterback Nick Mullens, playing for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) tonight, is excited to receive the boost on offense.
"They're two great playmakers on this football team," Mullens said on Friday. "Even getting on the practice field this week, you're quickly reminded about their speed. They're so fast in every practice rep, in every game rep, and we're going to love to have their speed, physicality, and mindset back on the field this week. I'm pumped for those guys that they're finally healthy."
