Kyle Brandt of Good Morning Football named San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert as the Angry Runs Week 6 winner for his punishing run on Sunday night against the Los Angeles Rams. Mostert was up against Kenyan Drake of the Arizona Cardinals and Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts for the weekly honor.

Mostert won't have a chance to defend the scepter. The running back is likely headed to injured reserve this week after suffering a high-ankle sprain on Sunday night. The 49ers will have to push forward with Jerick McKinnon, Jeff Wilson Jr., and JaMycal Hasty carrying the load.

While head coach Kyle Shanahan says the return of Tevin Coleman this week is a long shot, the expectation is that the veteran running back will return soon, possibly as early as next week.

Mostert also delivered a punishing stiff-arm against the Rams, but a penalty nullified the play.

Mostert finished Sunday's game against the Rams with 65 rushing yards on 17 carries and two receptions for 11 more yards in just over a half of play. He has registered 303 rushing yards and a touchdown on 51 carries (5.9 YPC) and 11 receptions for 150 receiving yards and another score through four games this season.

Mostert is in his sixth NFL season and fifth with the 49ers after joining the team's practice squad in November of 2016. He was San Francisco's leading rusher last season with 772 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns while adding 14 receptions for 180 yards and two more scores through the air.
