San Francisco gives up a sixth-round draft pick in 2022 in exchange for Willis and a seventh-rounder in 2021. The trade will be made official once the linebacker passes COVID-19 protocols and a physical.
The Cincinnati Bengals made Willis a third-round selection out of Kansas State in 2017. He has recorded 52 tackles, three sacks, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble through his four NFL seasons.
The Jets claimed Willis off waivers on September 11, 2019.
H/t to Patrick Tulini for the find.
