According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the San Francisco 49ers' depleted group of running backs should have Jeff Wilson Jr. (calf) when it takes the field at Gillette Stadium on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Along with tackle Trent Williams, Wilson was listed as "questionable" on Friday's injury report.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan sounded optimistic that Williams (ankle) would play too. Although, he wanted to wait until today to see how the offensive lineman was feeling.

The 49ers will be without their two starting safeties — Jaquiski Tartt and Jimmie Ward. The team activated safeties Johnathan Cyprien and Jared Mayden from the practice squad. Tarvarius Moore and Marcell Harris are expected to start.
