The quarterback admitted, though, that this victory was a little more special.
"This one, it was a fun one out there," Garoppolo told Mike Giardi of NFL Network, "just coming back to where it all started, a lot of memories, even just walking in, hearing the same songs and the same music. It was a pretty cool moment."
After the conversation with Giardi, Garoppolo spoke with reporters via Zoom and expressed what another win means to him and the 49ers, who remain undefeated on the road.
"I obviously wanted to come in here and get a win," Garoppolo said, "but to me, it didn't matter if we won by one or if we won by 100. Just go and get the win. And that was the mindset we had this week, the same thing we had last week, and we've just got to keep that mindset the rest of the season."
After back-to-back wins, Garoppolo and the 49ers hope to keep things rolling as they cap off their two-game road trip with a game at CenturyLink Field against the division-leading Seattle Seahawks.
"We're in a good spot right now," Garoppolo said. "We're playing well, all three phases. We're playing together. I think it's just a mindset that we have as a group. You can feel it. I felt it in the locker room today from the guys; felt it all week in practice. It's a good feeling when you're in the groove. We've just got to keep this thing going and keep stacking [wins]."
The 49ers will follow up their upcoming division matchup with a home game against the Green Bay Packers and then one more road game before the bye week against the New Orleans Saints.
