San Francisco 49ers safety Tarvarius Moore was hit with a fine from the NFL this week for his hit on New England Patriots wide receiver N'Keal Harry, according to a tweet from Jim McBride of the Boston Globe.

The hit took place during a third-down play with six seconds remaining in the first quarter of the 49ers' 33-6 win at New England on October 25. Harry left the game after the hit and has been declared out for New England's game this week against the Buffalo Bills.

Moore was fined $5,565 for unnecessary roughness due to the hit, according to McBride. No flag was thrown on the play.

Moore, 24, is in his third season with the 49ers after being selected in Round 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Southern Miss. Moore was given his first start of the season against the Patriots in place of Jimmie Ward, who was sidelined with a quad injury. Moore's fine is the second in-game fine for a 49ers player this season following running back Jerick McKinnon's Week 4 fine for Impermissible Use of the Helmet ($9,857).
