The San Francisco 49ers have lost their starting quarterback and arguably the best tight end in football, George Kittle, during Sunday's road game against the Seattle Seahawks. Garoppolo left the game at the end of the third quarterback after appearing to reaggravate the ankle injury that forced him to miss two games earlier this season. He is listed as "questionable" to return.

Kittle left the game minutes into the fourth quarter after hauling in a 25-yard pass from quarterback Nick Mullens. He walked gingerly to the sideline and was seen speaking with the team's training staff while sitting on the bench before leaving for the locker room under his own power.

The 49ers ended up scoring on the drive, but the Seahawks still hold a commanding 30-14 lead over their division rivals.

Kittle has two catches for 39 yards on four targets in the game. The team announced that he, too, is "questionable" to return due to a foot injury. It was initially reported to be an ankle injury.

San Francisco has another game in four days — a home matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
