The injury left the 49ers with Jerick McKinnon and Austin Walter as the only available running backs.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters after the game and said that Hasty suffered a broken collarbone. That means he'll probably miss a significant amount of time and will likely become yet another 49ers player to land on injured reserve.
Shanahan is hoping to get running backs Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (knee) back after the bye week.
"I'm hoping they are," Shanahan said of their chances to return in time for the 49ers' Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. "I know they've got a chance at it."
Shanahan also provided the following additional injury updates:
- Safety Johnathan Cyprien suffered a hamstring injury and did not return.
- Safety Jared Mayden suffered a quad injury and did not return.
- Running back Jerick McKinnon suffered a stinger and did not return.
- Quarterback Nick Mullens was briefly replaced by C.J. Beathard due to a quad injury but returned.
