San Francisco 49ers cornerback Jamar Taylor went down near the end of the second quarter of the team's Week 12 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. He had to be carted off the field and to the locker room after appearing to suffer a left knee injury.

Taylor appeared to be in significant pain as he was helped onto the cart. The injury came on a hit from Rams running back Malcolm Brown.

Taylor has been playing at the slot cornerback position during K'Waun Williams' absence. Emmanuel Moseley replaced him.

Taylor, an eight-year veteran, is in his first season with San Francisco. He entered the game with 19 tackles, two tackles for a loss, a sack, two quarterback hits, two interceptions, and three passes defensed this season.

Taylor is credited with three tackles against the Rams.
