The San Francisco 49ers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 23-20 upset victory over the division-rival and former division-leading Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Now, they will host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.

Of course, the game won't be at Levi's Stadium, as Santa Clara County has banned contact sports in the area due to growing COVID-19 numbers. Instead, the 49ers have found refuge in the desert, and for at least the next couple of weeks, will call State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona home.

The 49ers can increase their playoff chances by going on a run in these final five games of the season. That will mean overcoming the odds once again and knocking off the AFC East-leading Bills.

According to MyBookie, the Bills opened as 2.5-point favorites (O/U 48.5) over the 49ers in the upcoming matchup at State Farm Stadium. Buffalo is coming off a 27-17 home victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

San Francisco still sits in last place within the NFC West standings, but its win over Los Angeles and an Arizona Cardinals loss in Week 12 closed the gap. The Seattle Seahawks, of course, remain in the top spot at 8-3.

The 49ers and Bills are scheduled to kick off on Monday at 5:15 p.m. PT.
