The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has officially placed cornerbacks Jamar Taylor and Ken Webster on injured reserve. The team also waived safety Chris Edwards.

Taylor and Webster were both injured during Sunday's 23-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Taylor suffered a torn ACL, and Webster sustained what head coach Kyle Shanahan described as a "pretty severe hamstring pull." The injuries end their seasons.

Taylor finishes the season with 22 tackles, two tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, a sack, two interceptions, and three passes defensed through eight game appearances.

Webster has recorded 25 tackles, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble through 17 game appearances during his two NFL seasons.

Edwards spent the offseason with the 49ers but was waived on August 4. The 49ers re-signed him on November 24.
