Longtime Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, now with the Baltimore Ravens, recently complimented San Francisco 49ers rookie Brandon Aiyuk by comparing him to future Hall of Fame wideout Julio Jones.

That's high praise for a player who has appeared in just nine NFL games. Jones is a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, a two-time first-team All-Pro, and was named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

What does the 49ers rookie think about the comparison?

"Yeah, I saw it. People were sending it to me," Aiyuk told reporters on Friday. "A lot of people were sending it to me, like family and friends. I appreciate it, Dez, but I don't know about that one yet. Julio's definitely one of the greatest receivers of all time, so (I'm) far from that. But (I'll) just continue to try to work towards that, but I appreciate it."

The 49ers made Aiyuk the No. 25 overall pick in April's draft, and Pro Football Focus has him ranked as the third-highest graded rookie. Aiyuk has 40 receptions for 541 yards, four receiving touchdowns, and two rushing touchdowns this season.
