San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould hit a career milestone, successfully kicking his 400th career field goal and becoming only the 11th player in NFL history to reach that mark. He entered Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys needing two to reach 400 for his career and hit the milestone late in the fourth quarter.

Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb scored on the ensuing onside kick attempt and San Francisco trails 41-27.

Former Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots kicker Adam Vinatieri holds the record with 599 career field goals made.

The 49ers signed Gould to a two-year deal on March 9, 2017, and re-signed him to a four-year, $19 million deal on July 15, 2019. The veteran kicker was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after kicking the winning field goal during a 23-20 Week 12 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
