The NFL announced on Monday that Jeff Wilson Jr. has been nominated for this week's FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week award for his outstanding performance against the Arizona Cardinals. The San Francisco 49ers running back gained a career-high 183 rushing yards on 22 carries (8.32 avg.) while adding a reception for 21 yards and a touchdown during the 49ers' 20-12 victory.

This is the second time this season that Wilson has been nominated for the award. He was named the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week following the 49ers' Week 7 victory over the New England Patriots.

Below are the two other nominees this week.

Voting is open until Wednesday at noon (PT) at NFL.com/FedEx each week of the season. Fans can also vote on Twitter via the @NFL published polls and on the NFL Mobile App.

Wilson, an undrafted free agent out of North Texas who is now in his third NFL season, has a career-high 524 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on 106 carries and 10 receptions for 121 yards and two more scores through 11 games this season.

Through the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards, FedEx will honor each weekly winning quarterback and running back by working with Direct Relief to deliver emergency medical backpacks to North East Medical Services. The backpacks will help take care of 500 people in each community.
