On top of the insurmountable number of injuries the team endured this past season, the 49ers spent the last month in Arizona after Santa Clara County COVID-19 restrictions banned contact sports.
"Hopefully, we don't ever have to do this again, first off," Beathard said after the game, ready to finally get home. "But, there were some good times, some good memories here with the guys when you're all kind of bunked up in the same hotel you get to see them in passing a little bit. We weren't allowed to really hang out or whatever. So that kind of stunk, but overall, you learn from it, and you get better from the situation you're put in."
The second-highest graded 49ers player was wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, who hauled in five receptions for 76 yards against Seattle. Bourne was the 10th-highest-graded receiver in the NFL from Week 10, and Beathard owned a passer rating of 118.8 when targeting him.
On defense, cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon was the 49ers' highest-graded player. He allowed just two receptions on six targets during 42 coverage snaps. One of them, however, was a touchdown.
