"Some big meetings (today) including with the owner, Christopher Johnson from the New York Jets," Rapoport said of Saleh's meetings with the Jets on Good Morning Football. "Those things are going to continue this morning. The plan for the Jets is to bring in potentially other candidates for second interviews.
"As far as I can tell, no interviews are as-of-yet scheduled, which means Robert Saleh, if he is not the favorite for the Jets job, is certainly a favorite. Someone who is very popular on the interview circuit and someone who everyone believes will get a job this year."
Saleh has also met virtually with the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Los Angeles Chargers. The Philadelphia Eagles have also expressed interest in meeting with the defensive coordinator about their new head-coaching vacancy.
