The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has re-signed cornerback Ken Webster to a one-year deal. He was scheduled to become an exclusive-rights free agent.

The New England Patriots made Webster a seventh-round selection out of Ole Miss in 2019, but the defensive back was part of the team's final roster cuts. He landed with the Miami Dolphins and appeared in eight games with five starts in 2019 but finished the season on injured reserve.

San Francisco signed Webster off the Dolphins practice squad on September 16, 2020. He appeared in nine games with the 49ers this past season, registering six tackles and a forced fumble before a hamstring injury landed the defender on injured reserve on December 1, 2020.

Webster, 24, has recorded 25 tackles, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble through his two NFL seasons.
