George Kittle has never had an opportunity to speak with Tom Brady. However, he does remember the one interaction he had with the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

"I talked to him on Instagram one time," Kittle told Dan Patrick on Wednesday. "I dropped my phone. He DM'd me, and I dropped my phone. Humblebrag. I was like, 'Holy Cow.'"

The San Francisco 49ers looked into possibly bringing in the longtime New England Patriot last year but opted to stick with Jimmy Garoppolo. Brady went on to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and nearly a year later, he is getting set to play in his 10th Super Bowl. Brady will have to go through the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in Tampa, Florida, to earn his seventh ring.

Kittle knows all about the challenge of playing the Chiefs in the big game. His 49ers looked to have Super Bowl LIV nearly wrapped up while holding onto a fourth-quarter lead. Then Patrick Mahomes happened.

So, what does Kittle think about Sunday's matchup? He respects the Chiefs but can't necessarily bring himself to bet against Brady.

"This is my thinking, Dan, and you can tell me if I'm wrong: The Chiefs are really good," Kittle said. "They're clicking right now, offense, defense. ... But the Buccaneers have Tom Brady, and I just don't know how to ever go against Tom Brady in the playoffs and/or Super Bowl."

Kittle also discussed his experience last year during the week leading to Super Bowl LIV, what he remembers most from the heartbreaking defeat, National Signing Day, jersey swaps, and Travis Kelce versus Rob Gronkowski.
