San Francisco 49ers wide receiver River Cracraft posted a photo on Instagram of himself signing an extension with the team, along with the caption, "Staying home!"

Update: The 49ers officially announced the signing on Monday, February 22 — 10 days after it was first reported.

The Denver Broncos signed Cracraft as an undrafted free agent out of Washington State in 2017. Initially signed on August 27, 2020, he registered six receptions for 41 yards through nine games with the 49ers this past season.

Cracraft, 26, has caught seven passes for 85 yards with no touchdowns through his three NFL seasons. He also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles between his time with Denver and San Francisco.

The 49ers entered the offseason with nearly 40 players scheduled to become free agents. They have brought back several since the end of the season, including quarterback Josh Rosen, long snapper Taybor Pepper, and running backs Jeff Wilson Jr. and Austin Walter.
